Personalized branding and intentional packaging
Working with a local business to help redefine their visual identity, vision, and goals to stand out in a saturated market.
Julianna Candle Co. was in need of an updated visual identity that better expressed their brand and future vision. During initial discussions, we conducted a thorough analysis of various customer touch points to identify opportunities for the brand and products to better distinguish themselves in a saturated market. As advocates in supporting small businesses themselves, we decided to procure a packaging redesign that would be printed locally.

Logo Refresh
A refreshed identity which reflected purposeful, intentional design choices and ensured longevity.
During the logo design phase, the focus remained on infusing the visual identity with character and a distinctive "personal touch". Before collaborating, the founder of the company, Julianna Arcese, would include a note in every order signed "with love, Julianna, xo". This served as the inspiration for the new visual identity, which was developed with the active involvement of the client. The logo ultimately reflected their gentle and thoughtful nature.

Visual Guidelines
Intentional Packaging
The client opted for locally printed, eco-friendly packaging, in alignment with their core principles of promoting sustainability and supporting local. A custom die line and candle labels were thoughtfully designed to complement their vessels.
New candle vessels were sources from a local supplier to help the product further stand out. Separate colours were chosen to distinguish between each of the four collections.
Brand Experience
To complete the visual enhancements of the brand, thank you cards and candle care tips were designed as an additional touch point (also locally printed). To extend the personalized experience, each card is signed by Julianna and included with each order.
Him and Her made the entire process seamless and stress-free and genuinely shared our passion and excitement in the project, which was so refreshing and energizing knowing they were invested in our success.
